Return Policy
Effective January 1, 2026
In-Store Purchases
+ Full refund or exchange: within 10 days of purchase
+ Store credit: up to 14 days from purchase
Online Purchases
+ Return requests must be made within 10 days of delivery.
+ To request a return, reply to your delivery confirmation email or contact us at hello@thecottonmarket.com
Once approved:
+ Items must be delivered back to The Cotton Market or returned in-store within 14 days of approval.
+ Returns not received within this timeframe will not be accepted and will be mailed back at the customer’s expense or refused in-store return.

Return Requirements
To complete a return, we require:
+ A receipt or proof of purchase
+ Items must be unused, in original condition, with tags attached
+ If the item was shipped in the brand’s original packaging (box, branded wrap, etc.), that packaging must be included and in good condition
Shipping for Returns
+ Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
+ Shipping charges are non-refundable. If a refund is issued, the original shipping will be deducted
+ Include your packing slip or your name and order number in the package
+ We recommend using a trackable shipping method or purchasing insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items

Refunds
+ Once your return is received and inspected, you will be notified by email
+ Approved refunds will be processed within 7 days to the original payment method
If your refund has not posted:
1. Check your bank account
2. Contact your credit card company
3. Contact your bank (processing times may vary)

Final Sale & Non-Returnable Items
Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items are final sale and non-refundable.
We do not accept returns for:
+ Drinkware
+ Eyewear
+ Hair accessories
+ Jewelry
+ Workout apparel
Exchanges
Due to limited inventory, exchanges cannot be guaranteed. If the desired size or color is still available, you may:
+ Reorder the correct item and return the original for a refund
OR
+ Return the item requesting store credit and repurchase once credit is issued
For damaged or defective items, please email hello@thecottonmarket.com and we will do our best to replace the item.
Not Eligible for Return
+ Sale items
+ Items not in original condition (damaged or missing parts not due to our error)
+ Items returned more than 14 days after in-store purchase or approval for online return. Late returns from online purchases will be denied and returned at the customer’s expense.
